In another week of Minor League Baseball, the Orioles’ Triple-A affiliate, the Norfolk Tides, hosted a six-game series against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. With a record of 3-9 entering this series, the Tides had a lot of ground to make up.
The Bowie Baysox continue to be the best team in Double-A baseball, as they took four of six games from the Richmond Squirrels and improved to a 13-4 record on the year.
The Aberdeen IronBirds split their six-game series with the Wilmington Blue Rocks at three games a piece.
The Delmarva Shorebirds won yet another series this season, taking four of six games against the Carolina Mudcats.
After another week of play, the Orioles Triple-A affiliate, the Norfolk Tides, drop their record to 3-9. In six games against the Charlotte Knights, affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, the Tides were able to come away with just one win and are still at the bottom of the Triple-A East Division.
