The Norfolk Tides are set to open up their season Tuesday, April 5, at home against the Charlotte Knights, and the team has officially announced their Opening Day roster to begin the 2022 minor league season.
Rylan Bannon has been a surprise for the Orioles since being acquired by the team in 2018 from the Los Angeles Dodgers.
After another week of play, the Orioles Triple-A affiliate, the Norfolk Tides, drop their record to 3-9. In six games against the Charlotte Knights, affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, the Tides were able to come away with just one win and are still at the bottom of the Triple-A East Division.

The Baltimore Orioles made a bit of a surprising announcement this evening, as the team adjusted its 40-man roster. Several young prospects were added, while Renato Núñez was designated for assignment.
Up next on The Baltimore Battery Prospect Profiles Countdown is 23-year-old infielder, Rylan Bannon. Bannon was selected in the eighth round of the 2017 draft by the Dodgers. As a part of the Manny Machado deal, Bannon came over to the Orioles in July of 2018.
