The skies in Baltimore were overcast on the Wednesday afternoon that was May 5, 2021. Even when it appeared the sun might break through, the clouds would quickly regain full control, and (to add insult to injury) occasionally spit down those annoying droplets of rain that windshield wipers seem unable to wipe.

The Orioles had their hands full this weekend, as the red hot Oakland Athletics made a trip to Camden Yards. The A’s entered this series on an 11-game win streak, while the O’s looked to snap a six-game losing streak to the A’s.
The Orioles used some late game heroics to take the first two games of their first series at Globe Life Field, before dropping game three in 10 innings.
