Ahh, this was quite a frustrating weekend of baseball. Despite the exciting Orioles Hall of Fame ceremonies, this series felt like a display of Hall of Shame play.

With the Nationals’ season hanging in the balance, Washington came to visit the Orioles for a critical three games to see what direction they would be heading towards.

Nothing can erase the nightmarish memories from the 2014 American League Championship Series. However, this series victory in Kansas City does taste a little sweeter. Also, it’s nice to start the second half off with a series win!

With only two series left before the All-Star Break, the Blue Jays traveled to OPACY to start the first of these last two sets. It was the third meeting between the O’s and Jays in a month. I’ll tell you, I am a fan of the Blue Jays’ uniforms, but I’m tired of seeing them.
O’s dominate in Houston, sweep Astros in 3 games: Series Recap 6/28/21 – 6/30/31
This one ought to be fun! Cedric Mullins and the Baltimore Orioles traveled to Minute Maid Park in Houston and dominated. After being outscored 26-3 in their last meet up a week ago, the Orioles turned around and one-upped the Astros this time around. Literally, the O’s scored 27 in this series!
No sunshine for O’s, as Rays sweep Baltimore in St. Pete: Series Recap 6/11/21 – 6/13/21
A three-game series against the top team in the American League was a litmus test to see where the Orioles stacked up against the best. Instead, the Tampa Bay Rays walked away with another sweep, leaving the O’s 0-6 on the season against the Rays and 20 games under .500 on the year.
Norfolk Tides announce 2021 roster
The Norfolk Tides, the Triple-A affiliate of the Orioles, have officially announced their roster for the 2021 minor league season.

The O’s begin the 2020 Winter Meetings with a roster move, claiming right-handed reliever Ashton Goudeau from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
