It has been a little while, but we are back checking in on the future of the Baltimore Orioles.
This was a strong week across the farm system, with standout offensive performances and dominant outings on the mound, making several of these selections difficult.
Here are this week’s top performers from each affiliate.
Triple-A Norfolk: Jonathan Rodríguez – OF / Cameron Foster – RHP
Many Orioles fans remember Jonathan Rodríguez from his brief stint in the majors earlier this season, but he has been one of Norfolk’s most consistent offensive contributors. This past week, Rodríguez went 8-for-18 (.444), leading the Tides offensively throughout the series.
Rodríguez collected four doubles, one home run, two RBIs, four runs scored and four walks, raising his batting average by 17 points while extending his hitting streak to 10 games and his on-base streak to 11.
Across 24 games this season at the Triple-A level, Rodríguez is slashing .341/.446/.476 with 28 hits, including five doubles and two home runs. He has driven in five runs, scored 14 times and drawn 17 walks, continuing to provide both production and plate discipline near the top of Norfolk’s lineup.
On the mound, Cameron Foster earns Pitcher of the Week honors after serving as one of the few reliable arms in a rough week for Norfolk’s pitching staff.
Foster was the only Tides pitcher to make multiple appearances of multiple innings while keeping Charlotte off the scoreboard. Across two appearances totaling 2.2 innings, Foster allowed just two hits and one walk while striking out three. While he did not factor into a win or record a save, Foster handled his role effectively and was one of the few Norfolk relievers to emerge from the week without damage.
On the season, Foster has appeared in 10 games for the Tides, logging 11.1 innings with a 0-2 record, one hold and two blown saves. He currently owns a 9.53 ERA and 1.85 WHIP at the Triple-A level.
Double-A Chesapeake: Aron Estrada – INF / Yaqui Rivera – RHP
Aron Estrada’s bat remained red-hot this week, continuing what has been an impressive stretch at the plate.
Estrada slashed .421/.476/.474 with a .950 OPS, collecting eight hits and driving in a run during the series.
Through May, Estrada is hitting .349 and beginning to find his rhythm after a slow start to the season. Overall, he has recorded 32 hits, collected 12 RBIs and owns a .672 OPS. The full-season numbers may not jump off the page yet, but his recent production is an encouraging sign.
On the pitching side, Yaqui Rivera is quickly becoming one of the most underrated arms in the Orioles’ system.
Rivera tossed four hitless, scoreless innings in his latest appearance while striking out four.
Rivera has been outstanding all season, posting a 2.25 ERA across 28 innings with a 4-0 record and one save. He has walked just seven batters while striking out 37, showcasing both swing-and-miss stuff and strong command.
High-A Frederick: Wehiwa Aloy – INF / Boston Bateman – LHP
Before this series even began, Wehiwa Aloy made headlines with the first three-home-run game of his professional career on Mother’s Day. Since then, he has not slowed down.
Aloy slashed .421/.476/.474 with a .950 OPS this past week, tallying nine hits, two doubles and four RBIs. He also recorded two separate three-hit games during the series.
At this point, Aloy has arguably been the best hitter in the organization. He is slashing .326 with a .987 OPS and leads the Keys with 10 home runs this season. He also finished the week riding a seven-game hitting streak while reaching base in all seven contests.
Boston Bateman, meanwhile, continues to trend in the right direction after an inconsistent start to the year.
Bateman delivered 4.2 scoreless innings on Wednesday, allowing just three hits while striking out five. Command remains a work in progress, as he issued five walks in the outing.
On the season, Bateman owns a 4.39 ERA over 26.2 innings, with opposing hitters batting .300 against him. While the overall numbers still need improvement, recent outings suggest he may be settling in with Frederick.
Low-A Delmarva: Andres Nolaya – C / Caden Hunter – LHP
While Aloy has been the organization’s most consistent offensive performer this season, Andres Nolaya may have had the best week of anyone in the O’s farm system.
Nolaya slashed .429/.467/.857 with a 1.324 OPS, collecting six hits, including three extra-base hits, and driving in eight runs in just two games.
The breakout series gave Nolaya’s season numbers a major boost. He entered the week hitting .233 and finished at .264, while more than half of his 14 RBIs on the season came during this series alone.
On the mound, Caden Hunter continued his dominant start to 2026, earning Carolina League Pitcher of the Week honors.
Across two appearances this week, Hunter logged 8.2 innings, allowed just one hit, surrendered no earned runs and struck out 18.
After posting a 1.42 ERA in April, it seemed difficult to imagine Hunter elevating his performance even further. Instead, he has somehow gotten better, carrying a 0.71 ERA through May. The young left-hander has allowed just two earned runs in 19 innings this month and now has 31 strikeouts on the season.
