The Delmarva Shorebirds won yet another series this season, taking four of six games against the Carolina Mudcats.
The Shorebirds offense went off this week, with a number of Top-30 prospects shining for the Baby Birds.
O’s No. 5 prospect, Gunnar Henderson, keep on raking this season, going 7-for-21 with two homers and nine RBI on the week.
Jordan Westburg, the O’s No. 6 prospect, is the Low-A East League Player of the Week, after going 10-for-19. Gunnar Henderson was POW last week.
Baltimore’s No. 14 prospect Hudson Haskin is on an absurd stretch right now, as he has 18 hits over a nine-game hitting streak. He’s now slashing .355/.444/.500 with eight stolen bases on the year.
As for the pitching, Adam Stauffer picked up two more wins this week, and O’s No. 7 prospect Mike Baumann threw three scoreless, hitless innings in his second rehab assignment start for Delmarva.
