As one of the first moves in the Orioles offseason, the Birds have decided to re-sign outfielder Stevie Wilkerson to a minor league deal, that also included an spring training invite.

The only position player to ever record a save in a major league game, Wilkerson returns to a very overstuffed minor league outfield. More or less a veteran for the Orioles, a lot of young outfield players will compete against Wilkerson come spring training.

After being released on September 14 by the Orioles, Wilkerson remained unsigned until coming back on a minor league deal. Having not played since 2019, a fractured finger kept Wilkerson sidelined all of 2020.
