Stevie Wilkerson suffers fractured ring finger during diving catch

During the Orioles’ first exhibition game of this revamped spring training, Stevie Wilkerson picked up where he left off last season; making incredible catches in the outfield.

Unfortunately, this spectacular catch didn’t end as sweetly as his home run robbery last September. While sliding to make the catch, Wilkersons glove caught the ground awkwardly, fracturing his ring finger on his left hand in the process. Good news, the catch counted!

As of now, there is no time table to Wilkerson’s return. However, we can expect the shortened season to become much shorter for Stevie if he is able to return at all.

As more information surfaces about the injury to Stevie Wilkerson, The Baltimore Battery will keep the fans updated!
