There you have it, folks. The 2021 season has officially come to a close. While the Atlanta Braves took care of the Houston Astros in this year’s World Series, we can now look back at some stat leaders for the Orioles this past season!
The Baltimore Orioles have been in the midst of a rebuild for three years now, and in that time they have worked on developing younger players from the very bottom on up, including growing the international market that added an $800 million state-of-the-art facility in the Dominican Republic.
Ain’t the beer cold! It’s been a while since the Orioles delivered excitement like this! And even better, it comes at the expense of the New York Yankees!
For one last time this year, the Orioles play a series in Yankee Stadium. It’s historically a place the O’s suck in, yet this season has been a tad better. In six games played in the Bronx, the Orioles are 2-4. Still not good, but an improvement nonetheless.
This August has been arguably the worst month in Orioles history. With two games left on the calendar this month, the Birds are currently 3-23. To make matters worse, the Orioles now travel to Rogers Centre, a stadium where they have been historically bad in recent years.
