One thing we can count on in 2022 is Minor League Baseball.
Orioles affiliates are priming up and getting ready for their seasons while the big guns can’t even find a way to play in the same sandlot.
The Norfolk Tides have announced their 2022 promotional schedule, which includes 12 Fireworks Nights and four Bark in the Park Nights, where your four-legged best friend can come out and enjoy the game with you.
Fans coming to the ballpark will be pleased with two $2 Beer Nights and 12 Winedown Wednesdays, as well as 10 special business mantinees. The Tides even have a Margaritaville Night on July 2, so get your Jimmy Buffet on for Parrotheads and fans alike.
Showing appreciation to our armed forces, the Tides will have US Armed Forces, Coast Guard, Naval and Air Force Nights, respectively. We thank our military services, and the Tides will make sure they gives thanks to them this summer as well.
Our Boy and Girl Scouts of America will be honored, along with a Teacher’s Night, a Star Wars Night, a Turn Back the Clock Night and a Marvel Defenders of the Diamond Night. For those not into superheros, they will even have a Wands and Wizards Night for those magical experiences.
What is becoming a tradition, the Tides have invited Meredith from “The Office” to come out June 28 to join the fun of the Norfolk Tides season.
As for giveaways, fans can look for super star Adley Rutschman Bobblehead Night on June 3 as one of the seven giveaway nights. Other nights include a magnet schedule, a youth jersey giveaway and a baseball cap giveaway.
