The O’s are looking to avoid a series sweep from the Oakland A’s today with a win that will snap Oakland’s 13-game win streak.
In hopes of salvaging one game in this series, the O’s are sending John Means to the mound. Oakland will send their talented young left-hander, Jesús Luzardo.
A roster move was also made prior to today’s game, as the O’s have designated LHP Wade LeBlanc for assignment and have recalled LHP Zac Lowther from the Alternate Training Site at Double-A Bowie. Lowther will wear No. 59, and his first appearance will be his Major League debut.
