Orioles vs. Yankees: Game 2 Lineups

After the first loss of the season last night, the O’s look to get back in the win column tonight against the New York Yankees, again from the Bronx.

Last night was the night that the O’s offense was quited, as no runs were scored. Jorge López was very good to start but eventually lost his command, leading to an offensive barrage from the Bronx Bombers.

Rookie Rule 5 pick, Mac Sceroler, was really the only bright spot in last night’s game, tossing 2.2 scoreless innings against a tough Yankee lineup in his big league debut.

Tonight, Dean Kremer will make his first start of the season. Kremer knows the Yankees all too well, pitching against them in his MLB debut last season. New York will send their ace, Gerrit Cole, to the mound.

In other news, the MLB All-Star Game and it’s weekly festivities will now be held at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. The move comes after Major League Baseball’s decision to move the Mid-Summer Classic from Atlanta due to the Georgia’s new SB 202 voting law.

Also, the Yankees will be getting a new bat, as they have acquired infielder Rougned Odor from the Texas Rangers in exchange for a pair of prospects.

Here are tonight’s starting lineups:

1. DJ LeMahieu 2B
