Orioles vs. Yankees: Lineups & Notes 3/26/21

The O’s had the bats on fire last night in a 10-9 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates, and they look to keep it going tonight against the New York Yankees.

The offensive performance was impressive last night, especially from one Austin Hays, who went 3-for-4 with three runs batted in and was a single away from the cycle. Not to mention, he threw two runners out at home plate in right field.

Ryan Mountcastle had another nice outing, going 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. Pedro Severino and Trey Mancini also drove in two, respectively.

Jorge López will take the mound tonight, as he continues to cement his spot on the O’s Opening Day roster. The Yankees will send their ace, Gerrit Cole, to start.

In other news, Orioles individual tickets for April and May games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards will go on sale Wednesday, March 31, at 2:00 p.m. EST. This is great news for Birdland fans!

Also, veteran Wade LeBlanc, who opted out of his minor-league contract Wednesday, now is back with the O’s on a split contract that will pay him $700,000 if he makes the big league club. Welcome back, Wade!
