The O’s are back at it today from Clearwater, FL, as they gear up to play the Philadelphia Phillies in the second game of the spring.
The Birds started spring training with a 6-4 loss at Ed Smith Stadium in sunny Sarasota against the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday. However, the loss was outshined by a few positives, including the return of Trey Mancini, who went 1-for-2, and a huge no-doubt home run from Yusniel Díaz.
The Orioles will send Jorge López to the mound to make his first start of spring. The Phillies will counter with their projected Opening Day starter, Aaron Nola.
Here is today’s starting lineup for your Baltimore Orioles:
1. Austin Hays CF
2. DJ Stewart RF
3. Ryan Mountcastle LF
4. Rio Ruiz 3B
5. Chance Sisco C
6. Pat Valaika SS
7. Ramón Urías 2B
8. Brett Cumberland DH
9. Tyler Nevin 1B
SP. Jorge López RHP
Today’s game is available on MLB.TV via Phillies NBCSP+ and on the radio at 94 WIP. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. EST.
