Orioles lineup vs. Rays: 8/25/20

The Orioles look to keep up their winning ways, as they take on the division-rival Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg.

The team had an off day yesterday, after splitting a four-game series against the Red Sox.

Tommy Milone (1-3, 4.13 ERA) will take the mound for the O’s. Tyler Glasnow (0-1, 6.00 ERA) will start for the Rays.

The O’s faced Glasnow back on August 1, and they got to him early. The Rays’ flamethrowing righty didn’t get back through five innings, giving up two earned runs and walking three.

The Orioles made a roster move today, placing LHP Wade LeBlanc on the 60-day Injured List due to a left elbow stress reaction. In addition, the team has recalled LHP Keegan Akin from the Alternate Training Site in Bowie.

Notable Stats:

Tyler Glasnow has a 6.75 ERA this season at Tropicana Field

  • Rio Ruiz is hitting .300 off Glasnow with two RBI
  • The Rays have eight pitchers on the injured list, including six in their bullpen

Here is tonight’s starting lineup:

1. Cedric Mullins CF
2. Anthony Santander RF
3. Renato Núñez 1B
4. Rio Ruiz 3B
5. Hanser Alberto 2B
6. Chance Sisco C
