After arguably the most exciting game of the year last night, the Orioles look to split this four-game series against the Red Sox with back-to-back wins.
Last night, the bats of Anthony Santander and Pedro Severino led the O’s to an extra innings 5-4 victory. Pat Valaika also hit his third home run in three games.
It was also an exciting game for two rookies, as both Ryan Mountcastle and RamĂłn UrĂas tallied their first major league hits last night, both of which were singles.
As for today, Wade LeBlanc (1-0, 7.89 ERA) will make his sixth start of the year for the O’s, as he looks to break his 2020 struggles. Boston will send Zack Godley (0-2, 6.87 ERA) to the mound.
The Orioles come into today’s game 13-14, good for fourth in the A.L. East. They are 4.5 games out of first place and only 1.0 game back of Toronto for third.
