After a 9-3 loss last night, the Orioles will try to split this short two-game series against the New York Yankees.
Orioles ace, John Means, will make his season debut, after coming off the Injured List to start the season. Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said that he’s looking for three to four innings from Means, so it will be a bullpen night. J.A. Happ will start for New York.
To make room for the returning John Means, the Orioles have optioned right-hander Cody Carroll to their alternate Bowie site.
Chris Davis is not in the lineup again tonight, and Josè Iglesias is out with left quad soreness.
Here is your starting lineup:
1. Austin Hays CF
2. Hanser Alberto 2B
3. Renato Núñez 1B
4. Anthony Santander RF
5. Pedro Severino C
6. Dwight Smith Jr. DH
