Orioles Opening Day lineup vs. Red Sox: Series Preview

Ladies and gentlemen, we have made it to Opening Day!

Yes, tonight the Orioles will begin their 60-game sprint, as they take on the division rival Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.

The Orioles will send lefty Tommy Milone to the mound for his first Opening Day start. John Means was, of course, supposed to start, but arm fatigue landed him on the 10-Day Injured List.

Also starting the season on the 10-Day IL are pitchers Hunter Harvey and Dillon Tate, while Trey Mancini, Richie Martin, and Stevie Wilkerson will miss significant time.

The Orioles will send Alex Cobb and Wade LeBlanc for games two and three respectively.

The Red Sox will start Nathan Eovaldi tonight and will send Martin Perez and Ryan Weber for the final two games of the series.

Something to look for this series is the Orioles top hitters. Look for names like Hanser Alberto, Anthony Santander and Chris Davis, and see if they can lead the Orioles offense to a series win.

As for tonight, here is the Orioles Opening Day lineup:

1. Austin Hays CF
2. Anthony Santander RF
3. Josè Iglesias SS
4. Renato Núñez DH
5. Chris Davis 1B
6. Hanser Alberto 2B
7. Rio Ruiz 3B
8. Pedro Severino C
9. DJ Stewart LF
Tommy Milone SP

Tonight’s game is available to watch on TV on MASN and is available on the Orioles Radio Network! First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST!
