The Orioles headed into Detroit to face the Tigers, and, believe it or not, it was a battle of two teams playing fantastic baseball since the All-Star Break.

With the Nationals’ season hanging in the balance, Washington came to visit the Orioles for a critical three games to see what direction they would be heading towards.

O’s get swept by Ohtani and Angels in three games: Series Recap 7/2/21 – 7/4/21

The Orioles traveled out to the West Coast to face the A.L. M.V.P. favorite, Shohei Ohtani, and the Los Angeles Angels. Us fans were kept up late, as the Angels won all three games in this series, two of them on walk-offs.

O’s take 1, lose series against Jays

It’s the Battle of the Birds part two! The Orioles traveled up to the make shift home of the Toronto Blue Jays, currently playing in Buffalo, for a four-game series this past weekend.

O’s snap losing streak, drop series to Blue Jays: Series Recap 6/18/21 – 6/20/21

The Orioles had the chance to host the Blue Jays for the first time this season. After a very tough fought series, the O’s eventually dropped this three-game set, one that could be deemed as a home run derby for the Orioles.

O’s, Mets split two-game set in Baltimore: Series Recap 6/8/21 – 6/9/21

The NL East leading Mets came to visit Camden Yards for a mid-week two-game set that was split with one win by each team. In both games, the victor scored at least 10 runs, with the Mets scoring 14 in their win Wednesday night. These two games looked like football scores!

O’s swept by Rays, head to DC for 3 against Nats: Series Recap 5/18/21 – 5/20/21

Finally, the Orioles played someone in the A.L. East other than the Red Sox or Yankees. The Tampa Bay Rays came to town for a three-game set, their first three meetings this season.

The Yankees came into Baltimore to reek havoc on the Birds, and they did just that. Well, in the first two games at least.

Mets sweep O’s in short set: Series Recap 5/11/21 – 5/12/21

The Orioles paid a visit to beautiful Citi Field in New York, as the O’s and Mets took part in a short two-game interleague series, one that featured a fantastic pitcher’s duel in game one and the return of “The Dark Knight” to his old stomping grounds in game two.

O’s claim Ureña off waivers from Jays; designate Valaika

After agreeing to terms with all four remaining eligible players (Trey Mancini, Mychal Givens, Hanser Alberto, and Miguel Castro), the Orioles have made another move, claiming infielder Richard Ureña off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Baltimore Orioles made a couple roster moves today, including the pick up of infielder Pat Valaika from the Colorado Rockies. Along with that claim, pitchers Ryan Eades, Luis Ortiz, Josh Rogers, and Tanner Scott have cleared waivers and have been outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk.
