The Orioles headed into Detroit to face the Tigers, and, believe it or not, it was a battle of two teams playing fantastic baseball since the All-Star Break.

This one ought to be fun! Cedric Mullins and the Baltimore Orioles traveled to Minute Maid Park in Houston and dominated. After being outscored 26-3 in their last meet up a week ago, the Orioles turned around and one-upped the Astros this time around. Literally, the O’s scored 27 in this series!
O’s take 1, lose series against Jays
It’s the Battle of the Birds part two! The Orioles traveled up to the make shift home of the Toronto Blue Jays, currently playing in Buffalo, for a four-game series this past weekend.

Much like many series this year, this one against the Houston Astros will be one to forget. The Astros outscored the Orioles 26-3 in these three games, while the Orioles could only record 14 hits across the series.

The Orioles had the chance to host the Blue Jays for the first time this season. After a very tough fought series, the O’s eventually dropped this three-game set, one that could be deemed as a home run derby for the Orioles.

Another series down, another collection of woes for the Orioles. This four-game set in Cleveland was one any Oriole fan would love to forget.

The NL East leading Mets came to visit Camden Yards for a mid-week two-game set that was split with one win by each team. In both games, the victor scored at least 10 runs, with the Mets scoring 14 in their win Wednesday night. These two games looked like football scores!

The Orioles headed into this three-game series tied for the league’s worst record with the team they were set to face, the Minnesota Twins. Now, the O’s officially have the worst record in the majors.

The Yankees came into Baltimore to reek havoc on the Birds, and they did just that. Well, in the first two games at least.

The Orioles had their hands full this weekend, as the red hot Oakland Athletics made a trip to Camden Yards. The A’s entered this series on an 11-game win streak, while the O’s looked to snap a six-game losing streak to the A’s.

The Orioles headed into Miami this week in search of their first back-to-back series wins of the season. Unfortunately, they were unable to win the series, instead splitting it one game a piece.

The Orioles were slated to finish off the first home stand of the season with a four-game set against the Mariners. Due to Mother Nature, all four games of this series were played as two sets of seven-inning doubleheaders, as Monday and Wednesday’s games were both postponed.

The Orioles made their return to Camden Yards after a six-game road trip, and for the first time since 2019, it was in front of fans. After dropping two out of three to the Yankees, our Orioles looked to bounce back against the Red Sox. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

There’s no better way to start a season than with a series sweep on the road. For the first time since 2017, the Orioles did just that, taking all three games of this first series over the Red Sox at Fenway.
