The Baltimore Orioles’ offseason has just gotten more exciting, as the organization has signed right-handed reliever Andrew Kittredge to a one-year deal worth a guaranteed $10 million.

The deal includes a club option for the 2026 season for $9 million and a buyout of $1 million.

Kittredge is an older reliever, entering his age 35 season, but he is a reliable arm. He is coming off his lone season with the St. Louis Cardinals, where in 74 games and 70.2 innings of work, he carried a 2.80 ERA while striking out 67 and walking just 20.

Kittredge’s 2024 season was his first full season since he carried a 1.88 ERA in 57 games back in 2021. He pitched just 31 games combined in 2022 and 2023 with ERAs at 3.15 and 3.09 but still showed control, walking four total batters and striking out 24. He has walked just 73 batters in his career, dating back to the 2017 season.

Kittredge brings stability to this O’s bullpen, and his veteran experience will only help a still young club. The Spokane, WA, native will share time with Seranthony Domínguez and Yennier Canó in the middle-to-late innings.
