It’s 2025, and we all know that means.
Yes, besides it being a new year, it means that the Baltimore Orioles’ promotional schedule has arrived, and it seems like it has grown in size.
New owners, new promos and more ways to interact with the fans. Let’s jump right in and see what is in store for this season.
We’ll start with the home opener on March 31, in which there will be the opening festivities. However, fans will also receive an Orioles rally towel to show love and support.
April 11 is the next giveaway, which will include a clear stadium bag to the first 10,000 fans.
Other highlights include an Oriole plush toy for Kid’s Opening Day, which is April 13, and will be given to the first 8,000 kids 14 and under.
Some of the theme nights include:
- May 2 – May 4: Star Wars Weekend
- May 15: Field Trip Day
- May 18: Youth Softball and Baseball Day
- June 1: Youth Sports Day
- June 15: Scouts Day
- June 25: LGBTQ+ Pride Night
- July 30: Day Camp Day
- September 23 – 25: Fan Appreciation Week
Now, let’s get into one of everyone’s favorites, including this writer’s, the bobbleheads. They are great collectibles, and finding them outside of a giveaway will cost you a pretty penny.
This season, there are six bobblehead giveaways, highlighted by the first one of new Orioles owner, David Rubenstein, on April 19 (first 15,000 fans).
Star Wars weekend will be highlighted by two bobblehead giveaways, with Colton Cowser (May 2) and Gunnar Henderson (May 4) to the first 20,000 fans. Both will be in Jedi attire and swinging lightsabers.

Other bobblehead giveaways include:
- May 31: Grayson Rodriguez (First 20,000 fans)
- July 28: Jordan Westburg (First 15,000 fans)
- September 24: Golf Adley Rutschman (First 15,000 fans)
Following the bobbleheads, T-shirts are another popular item. T-shirt giveaways begin on April 12 with another on May 17, when the first 15,000 fans will receive an Orioles T-shirt.
Between the T-shirt giveaways, the Orioles will give out an Orioles hockey jersey on April 18 to the first 15,000 fans. Also, May 30 will have an Orioles bowling shirt given away to the first 15,000 fans.

Ocean City sponsors a beach T-shirt giveaway to the first 20,000 fans, which will take place on June 14.
Other T-shirt and jersey giveaways include:
- June 25: Orioles pride jersey (First 15,000 fans)
- June 27: City Connect soccer jersey (First 15,000 fans)
- July 8 & 12: Birdland Hawaiian shirt (First 15,000 fans)
- August 23: Jim Palmer replica jersey (First 20,000 fans)
- September 25: Orioles T-shirt
If you think the giveaways stop there, don’t forget that the Birds play baseball, and one of the key components to any baseball team is the hat.
The Orioles have six giveaways with different hats this year, starting off with a straw hat giveaway on June 15 to the first 15,000 fans.

That will be followed by the yacht rock hat to the first 10,000 fans on July 10.
Everyone’s favorite hat, the Orioles floppy hat, returns to the first 20,000 fans 21 & older on July 25.
Other hat giveaways include:
- August 10: Orioles corduroy hat (First 20,000 fans)
- August 22: Orioles cowboy hat (First 15,000 fans)
- September 23: Orioles knit beanie (First 10,000 fans)
Of course, you can’t have a baseball season without fireworks, and the Orioles are bringing their popular Friday Fireworks back this season.
Three firework events this season are currently scheduled, and they will begin after the completion of home Friday night games.
The dates for fireworks are as follows:
- Friday, June 13
- Friday, July 11
- Friday, August 8
It seems this season that there are more events and giveaways than before, with new ownership, led by David Rubenstein, wanting to show appreciation for the fans that support the team and city.
There are numerous events that can strike your fancy, but what particular ones are you going to try and get to? Will it be the bobbleheads, the shirts or the hats? Maybe you’ll try to get at least one of each.
It’s going to be a fun and adventurous season, and being a fan comes with some really great perks. We hope to see you at The Yard and join in on the festivities and giveaways.
Single game tickets, not including the home opener, will go on sale January 26 starting at 10 a.m. EST.
