According to MLB Insider Jon Heyman, the Baltimore Orioles are reuniting with right-handed reliever Matt Bowman on a minor league deal.

The deal includes an invite to big league camp this spring. If Bowman makes the majors, the deal will be worth $1.1 million with $400,000 in incentives.

Bowman spent time with four different organizations last season, ending the 2024 campaign with Baltimore. He appeared in 15 games with the O’s, posting a 3.45 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in 15.2 innings of work.

In six professional seasons, the Chevy Chase, Maryland, native has a career 4.17 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in just over 200 games played. The 33-year-old has struck out 176 and walked 77 in 216 innings pitched between seven organizations.

Bowman will battle for a spot in a somewhat locked-in bullpen, with the return of Félix Bautista and the assurance of Yennier Canó and Seranthony Domínguez in the backend.

Welcome back to Birdland, Matt!
