We are counting down the days to March 28, 2024, for Opening Day at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, but that also means we’re close to minor league action as well.
The four Orioles minor league affiliates have released their promotional schedules, and my goodness, there are some incredible nights to look forward to.
Let’s break down some of the fun promotional nights and neat giveaways fans can expect this season around Birdland.
Bobbleheads
Throughout the last few years, the bobbleheads have been top notch around Birdland, from different Adley Rutschman variations to having Trey Mancini dressed as a Jedi Knight from Star Wars.
Below is a list of bobbleheads, the date they are scheduled to be handed out and the affiliate giving them away this season.
- Sunday, May 5 – Bowie Baysox – Anthony Santander COPA Bobblehead: First 750 fans 13 and older
- Friday, May 24 – Delmarva Shorebirds – Félix Bautista Los Gallos de Delmarva Bobblehead: First 1,000 fans
- Sunday, June 23 – Bowie Baysox – Adley Rutschman and Grayson Rodriguez Dual Bobblehead: First 750 fans 13 and older
- Friday, June 28 – Delmarva Shorebirds – Creed Willems Bobblehead: First 1,000 fans
- Friday, July 5 – Delmarva Shorebirds – Gunnar Henderson Patriotic Bobblehead: First 1,000 fans
- Thursday, August 1 – Delmarva Shorebirds – Maryland Pride Jackson Holliday Bobblehead: First 1,000 fans
- Sunday, August 4 – Bowie Baysox – Gunnar Henderson Bobblehead: First 750 fans 13 and older
- Friday, September 6 – Norfolk Tides – Jackson Holliday Bobblehead: First 2,500 fans 18 and older
Wearable Items
There’s nothing like repping your favorite or hometown team with wearble gear like T-shirts and caps.

Promotional Nights
As there are great giveaways, there are also great theme nights at the ballparks.
Below is a list of all the promotional nights held this season.
- Kids Run the Bases: After every Sunday home game for Delmarva
- Family Fun Day: Every Sunday home game, come early to the Baysox game and play catch on the field, get autographs and all fans get to run the bases after the game
- Gotta Have Faith Friday: After a Friday Baysox win, any fan that attended the game receives a voucher for a half-priced game box seat
- Woof Wednesday: Bring your dog to a Baysox game on Wednesdays to enjoy the game with your furry friend
- Live Happy Hour: Every Thursday home game, come to the Baysox game early for live music and specials on beer
- Silver Slugger Night: Seniors can come out and play baseball bingo while watching the Shorebirds game
Celebrations
This year, there is plenty to celebrate, so let’s list all the big celebrations scheduled for this year.

Aberdeen has not announced their giveaways as of this writing, but they have announced the dates as July 19, August 3 and August 23. While we can not fit every giveaway in this article, we highly recommend that you check out the full promotional schedules for all four affiliates.
