The 2024 Baltimore Orioles coaching staff has officially been announced, and while some coaches return, there are some new faces in the Orioles dugout.
Drew French is the team’s new pitching coach, replacing the newly-promoted Chris Holt. French recently left his job as the bullpen coach of the Atlanta Braves from 2021-2023.
Mitch Plassmeyer is the new assistant pitching coach for the 2024 Orioles team. Plassmeyer was recently the pitching coach for the University of Missouri’s baseball team.
The final addition is Grant Anders, who is the new major league development coach. Anders has been with the Orioles since 2019 as a major league development analyst since 2021.
The rest of the coaching staff remains the same. Below are the names, positions and what season these coaches are entering for the Orioles heading into 2024.
- Manager: Brandon Hyde (Sixth)
- Co-Hitting Coach: Matt Borgschulte (Second)
- Co-Hitting Coach: Ryan Fuller (Third)
- Offensive Strategy Coach: Cody Asche (Second)
- Major League Field Coordinator/Catching Instructor: Tim Cossins (Sixth)
- Bench Coach: Fredi González (Fifth)
- Major League Coach: José Hernández (Fifth)

This staff looks to lead an Orioles team that won a franchise-best 101 games last season.
