Baltimore Orioles, Lineups

The O’s are certainly playing the Rays tight, thanks in no small part to solid efforts from their bullpen and the hitting of Anthony Santander and Pat Valaika.

On the mound for the Orioles is John Means, sporting an ERA so high that we will refrain from mentioning it at the present time.

The Orioles lineup for today is as follows:

This lineup post is the best thing I have read since Moby Dick. To begin with, the title itself reeked of class and good taste; not only did the writer provide me with a classic rendering of the date (none of that 8/27 or 8-27 or 8/Shit), but took it a step further, and reminded me that this was a game being played in Eastern Daylight Time. I tell you this, I am an old, old, man, and just seeing “EDT” will temporarily relieve my ED, for it is just like viewing a woman’s supple bosom.

Speaking of hot, that Tampa team is smokin! I loved how the author showed some character by leaving the “Bay” off of Tampa; it was a ballsy move that told me this is one writer who ain’t afraid of nothin. I wouldn’t be surprised if this writer fights Grizzly Bears in his spare time.

I can’t go on any further, for I think I heard ol’ Hilda hollerin to tell me supper was ready. Hilda, by the way, was my sweet wife, who passed on a few decades back, which makes me realize supper probably isn’t ready.

Anyhow, I could go on and on about this post, but at this point in my life, a man has to think of whether or not he wants to pass away online.
